PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Senior School (Years 9–12)

The Fitness Centre empowers students to build physical strength, stamina, and confidence through a structured, high-impact gym program. Operating in a dynamic and inclusive environment, this program provides the perfect space for students to grow, push their limits, and thrive. It is designed for everyone, whether they are completely new to gym training or looking to enhance their athletic performance.

HEAD OF PROGRAM 

Rob Marks

Rob Marks, a former national and international sprinter in the 100m and 200m, brings elite competition experience to his coaching. With over a decade of guiding sprinters, distance runners, and multi-sport athletes, he has led competitors to state and national podiums and supported athletes at the Commonwealth Games, World Junior Championships, Oceania Championships, and the Olympic Games. Passionate about athletics, Rob aims to inspire athletes to push limits, build resilience, and excel in both sport and life, empowering them to reach their full potential on and off the track.

Pricing
$600 (2 sessions), $300 (1 session) yearly

Program Structure 

To maximise engagement and results, each 60-minute session runs multiple times per week and blends resistance training, functional movement, and cardiovascular conditioning.

Every session follows a consistent structure:

  • Warm-Up — Activating the body and preparing for movement.
  • Skill Development — Learning and refining safe technique.
  • Strength Circuits — Building core and muscular power.
  • Conditioning Finishers — Elevating cardiovascular endurance.

Key Learning & Movement Patterns

Students don't just exercise; they learn the fundamental mechanics of movement. Under expert guidance, participants will master and refine foundational patterns, including:

  • Key Movements: Squatting, lunging, pressing, pulling, and bracing.
  • Physical Attributes: Improving agility, coordination, and overall endurance.

Inclusive & Scalable: Exercises are thoughtfully scaled to suit all ability levels, ensuring that every single student is appropriately challenged and fully supported in their personal progress.

We believe in educating the whole athlete. The program introduces core lifestyle and fitness principles that students can carry with them for life:

  • Training Education: Understanding progressive overload, recovery, and mobility.
  • Personal Accountability: Goal-setting, tracking individual performance, and reflecting on personal effort.
