Governance

Thomas Hassall Anglican College is governed by a ‘College Council’ who are focussed on strategic matters including capital planning, risk compliance and monitoring, as well as oversight of the operation of the College.

The Council is appointed by, and accountable to, the Board of The Anglican Schools Corporation. The Council appoints the Principal to whom is delegated day-to-day management and operational responsibility of the College. The College is accredited by NESA (formerly the Board of Studies).

The Councillors offer a range of professional, business and spiritual expertise and include a representative from The Anglican Schools Corporation. The Principal is an ex-officio member of the Council. All Councillors volunteer their time and expertise to the College and receive no financial or other benefit.

Mrs Karen Easton is the third Principal of the College and leads an executive team responsible for the Learning and Teaching, Finance, Business Operations and Marketing of the College.
