PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The College Netball Program is committed to fostering foundational skill development, teamwork, and strategic understanding. Designed to support players at all levels, the program promotes a strong culture of inclusion and respect, ensuring every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Training sessions focus on building technical proficiency, game awareness, and positional play while cultivating a sense of unity and shared purpose among players. The program instills the values of sportsmanship and fair play, with an emphasis on integrated development, shaping students into confident and respectful individuals.
By providing clear pathways for progression, the Netball Program prepares students to advance into competitive teams and access external opportunities, creating a platform for long-term success both on and off the court.
HEAD OF PROGRAM
Dayla Tikeri
Dayla Tikeri has seven years of coaching experience spanning club, representative, and elite netball. As a Netball Australia Intermediate Coach, she has achieved success with programs such as GWS Fury Premier League 23s, South West Sydney Academy of Sports, NSW Samoa Netball Association, and the Liverpool City Netball State Championships. In 2025, Dayla will serve as the head coach for Camden Valley Metro League Team 1. Her coaching philosophy prioritises skill development, inclusivity, and a team culture grounded in Christian values, empowering athletes to excel both on and off the court.

Program Structure
Afternoon Development Program
All Junior School students are invited to participate in the program to focus on fundamental skills in passing, catching, shooting, game understanding through umpiring and positional play in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Grading and grouping
Students will be grouped based on skill level, allowing for targeted coaching peer collaboration. Training focuses include:
- Fitness and conditioning
- Technical skills such as ball handling, defensive and attacking positioning
- Decision-making and game strategies
Students will also benefit from additional resources, including:
- Nutrition education sessions
- Video analysis for skill breakdown and performance review
- Recovery and rehabilitation sessions
- Strength and conditioning training
