Duke of Edinburgh Program

This challenging initiative encourages participants to step out of their comfort zones and embark on a journey of personal growth.

Duke of Edinburgh International Award

The Duke of Ed Framework challenges students to step out of their comfort zones and embark on a journey of personal growth.

There are three levels that build on the accomplishments of the previous level

  • Bronze (from age 14, Year 9)
  • Silver (from age 15, Year 10)
  • Gold (from age 16, Year 11)

Each level is made up of four sections

  • Physical Recreation
  • Skill Development
  • Voluntary Service
  • Adventurous Journey

At the Gold level, there is also a Residential Project, further expanding student’s horizons.

Duke of Ed offers recognition for setting goals and achieving them. It is a transformative experience, fostering service, adventure, resilience, teamwork, persistence, and a sense of responsibility. These values align strongly with our College’s vision of nurturing students who are well-rounded, equipped to make a significant and positive contribution to society.
