As an Anglican College, our Christian conviction is demonstrated in:
Our Motto
‘A More Excellent Way’
Our Mission
‘To be a vibrant learning community where Christ is honoured, everyone is valued, character is nurtured and positive relationships thrive.’
Our Vision
‘Growing and Nurturing Excellence in Learning, Wisdom and Service in the South West of Sydney’
Our Guiding Principles
‘Learning to Live, Living to Serve, Honouring Christ’
We seek to engage with our wider community and we see an opportunity for the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to reach into the lives and the futures of families in the South West of Sydney.
Our motto, ‘a more excellent way,’ derived from 1 Corinthians 12:31, underscores our commitment to excellence that transcends mere achievement. It speaks to the notion of excelling not for personal gain but for the benefit of others, particularly through loving service - a concept deeply rooted in our College ethos.
The priorities of the College are underpinned by an understanding of the Gospel and our guiding principles. In all we do, we pursue a more excellent way in the Lord Jesus Christ - the way of love.
And yet I show you a more excellent way. Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.1 Corinthians 12:31 - 13:2
